SKF Dual Compound Fork Seal Kit Fox / RockShox
SKF has thought about how to further improve the already very successful sealing rings and the result is the new Dual Compound sealing rings, which consist of a combination of two different materials.
Fox/RockShox 38
One material ensures better sealing and resistance, while the other provides better response and sliding properties. The shape of the sealing lip has been changed for even better sealing. The newly developed, widely spaced coiled spring on the dust cap prevents mud and slush from settling quickly.

- Significantly better response, with about 20% less friction
- Significantly better protection against penetration of dirt and water
